PYRITE DECONTAMINATION
In order to supplement the range of its client-services, PAVCO Inc. also provides expertise in the field of pyrite materials removal. The execution of building renovations due to the damage caused by the swelling of the pyrite are carried out in adherence with the highest standards, that is to say those recommended by the ASSOCIATION DES CONSOMMATEURS POUR LA QUALITE DANS LA CONSTRUCTION (ACQC).
Depending on the customer’s needs, PAVCO Inc. can provide turnkey solutions, including:
- Removal and storage of the client’s furniture and/or personal effects;
- Demolition of basement structures and partitions;
- Excavation of concrete and pyritous embankment;
- Inspection of the wall footings and foundation;
- Repairs and waterproofing if needed;
- Installation of a blind drain and a submersible below the level of the slab;
- Filling with ¾ inch net stone certified for concrete slab;
- Casting of a 4 inch 25 MPA concrete slab with a 6 millimetre vapour-barrier, armoured grate and subsurface reinforcement fabrics (ie. geotextiles placed upon the ground);
